I've been so busy with spring break and the kids that I haven't had the time to do some of the assemblages I wanted to do this week, so I had a brainstorm. Draw! It has been so many years since I've penciled and doodled, but it started to come back to me. I had a sketchbook that I'd been meaning to use as a journal, and I've had the pencils and erasers. I realized how fun it is to let loose.

Try it too! Best part is, you can sit in bed, all warm under the covers, watching your favorite show at the same time. Can't beat that! I thought I'd share the ones I made last night. I still draw the same way I did years ago. I guess our style is our style. Try it for yourself...it's interesting to keep an art journal. Here are the ones I made last night.

Hi Zinnia! Beautiful sketches! I agree with Sara! I love the first one too! I enjoy sketching the same way. Nothing beats sketching in between commercials. Have a lovely day!

Hugs,
Lisa :)

Beautiful, just beautiful drawings. And the music, oh, to see those drawings and hear that music - such a moving heavenly experience. I may have to steal that music next time I change mine up.

Have a wonderful weekend!
