Alice In Wonderland Mania!

So, here are the beginning stages of my latest swap cards for Roses. This is for the March swap, and I just have to paint them and they are good to go!



Oh..can you imagine the beautiful new colors and depictions of Alice that the newest film will bring? Tim Burton certainly has the imagination! I don't know yet how I feel about the new spin on the classic tale, but I know I love Johnny Depp, so I am looking forward to seeing the movie.

Still working hard at my Journal Journey book. It's really wonderful to explore new horizons and to extend beyond my comfort zone. I think that breaching my limits helps me to take risks and to open myself, not to criticism, but to growth. Growing can be painful too! But, in the end it's worth it.

I'm offering a wonderful workshop in assemblage art which focuses on Shrines. It is such a beautiful way to pay tribute to the people and things we hold dear to our hearts and serve as reminders of our deepest connections. Most shrines develop into a specific kind of energy that seems to burst from the seams as it grows into an artwork. It really is a joy to be able to create this workshop and to offer it on Roses.
